Lost electrolytes by daily life are replenished and vitamins and minerals are added to the mixture to make it a complete dietetic food. Hill's Prescription Diet i/d chicken in pouches also uses beta carotene or provitamine A. This is a precursor of Vitamine A which is a vital component for a healthy skin and immune system. This will make sure the immune system is armed to combat any additional bacterial intruders or viruses. In such a way, the digestive system is cleansed of any intruders and can be kept healthy whilst the allergenic ingredients have been omitted. Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Chicken can be fed in combination with the dry food variant for maximum effect.
