Sanimed Anti-Struvite is a special diet feed for cats to dissolve and simultaneously prevent crystal formations in the bladder and the urinary tract. Due to it's composition, Sanimed Anti-Struvite lowers the PH-value of your cat's urine. This makes the environment too acidic for crystallization to happen within the cat's urinary tract. Thus, preventing the formation of new struvite or oxalate formation. Furthermore, already present kidney stones will be dissolved thanks to the acidic urine as well as reducing the intake of crystal-forming minerals. Low calcium and protein content to prevent oxalate formation and low magnnesium, ammonium and phosphorus content to prevent the formation of struvites. Sanimed Anti-Struvite is a complete food and can be used to replace its old food. However, it is always best to consult your local veterinarian to make sure you get the most adequate food for your feline.
