Equitop ProNutrin is a supplementary feed to help horses suffering from stomach ulcers. Competition horses are very prone to get stomach ulcers. In fact, it has become one of the most common medical conditions in horses today.
Equitop ProNutrin tries to tackle the problem head-on. Firstly, it tries to remedy the causes. These are commonly known and are also the cause of stomach ulcers in humans. Next to a preventive action, Equitop ProNutrin also works reactively. When the gastric mucosa is damaged and a crater arises, then a stomach ulcer is formed. In order to protect and restore the gastric mucosa, apolectol is added to the mixture which is uniquely designed by Equitop using pectin fibers, glycerin and lecithin. This substance's sole purpose is to restore and maintain the gastric mucosa. In order to keep your horse healthy, don't forget to alleviate the stress they endure and care for them. Feed your horse Equitop Pronutrin daily for 2 to 4 weeks or as the vet prescribes. The dosage is 50 g per 100 kg per day, divided into two equally large portions. Give one half of the dose in the morning and the other half in the evening. You can give the supplement separately or mix it with the horse food. Your horse should be able to drink water easily after administration because the fibers absorb a fair amount of fluid. In lactating foals, the recommended dose of Equitop Pronutrin can be mixed with 3 volumes of lukewarm water. After 2 to 3 minutes the resulting slobber can be introduced directly through the mouth by means of a syringe or with a plastic bottle. You can administer the supplement to any horse, also before and during competitions. Equitop Pronutrin is not assessed as doping.
